This is my mantra as I move inexorably to the end of this series. The inventory is now fully digitised and I have broken down all 154 drawings (it turned out that I was miscounting all this time when I said 152) into 19 categories and alphabetised accordingly. And finally, a real image is forming of how and where I’d like to show this. I know that at this moment, I need to be as purposeful as a cat, crouching, eyes watchful and unblinking, but in my heart, I’m longing for a day when I get to lie curled on the sofa with my chin in my lap.
